Course groups determine which parts of a course a user can access. For example, you might create:

  • One group that grants access to the full course

  • Another that grants access to only selected modules

These groups are then linked to your payment forms through the products you sell.

When you configure a product that grants access to a course, you can choose to automatically assign customers to a specific course group upon purchase. This means:

  • The product controls course access by linking to a specific group.

  • The group defines what the customer sees inside the course after becoming a new course member.

Once your course groups are created, you’ll find them as options when configuring a product:

  1. Select the course where the groups were created as the product itself.

  2. Choose which group(s) to assign customers to after they purchase your course.

This setup allows you to automatically manage course access based on the purchased product — whether it's full access, partial access, or a specific version of the course.
