This article explains how to prevent members from accessing the next course page until they meet a required condition.
You can restrict access by requiring members to complete a quiz or evaluation with a minimum passing score.
Hide the "Next" button (→)
Navigate to the Content tab of your course.
Locate the page where access should be restricted and access its Page properties.
Enable the Hide "Next" button option.
This prevents learners from moving forward until they meet the required condition.
Option 1: Restrict access with a quiz
Access your quiz registration settings.
Set a minimum passing score (e.g. 70%).
If members reach the required score, the “Next” button (→) will appear on the course page, allowing them to proceed.
Option 2: Restrict access with an evaluation
Navigate to your evaluation’s Actions tab.
Create an action based on the member’s final evaluation score (defined in the Calculations tab).
Set the condition: if the member’s score falls within a specific range, they will be automatically redirected to the next course page.
Action to select: Grant access to next page of the course
Learners will not be able to progress until they meet the condition you configured. Depending on your setup, they must either reach the required quiz passing score or meet the evaluation condition before the next course page becomes available.
