This article explains how to convert a completed live webinar into an automated webinar, also called an autowebinar or evergreen webinar.
Use it when you want to reuse a live webinar recording and let viewers watch it at scheduled times, while keeping the original webinar configuration available in your account.
What is an automated webinar?
An automated webinar allows you to broadcast a pre-recorded webinar at scheduled times. Viewers can choose when to attend from the time slots you configure, while still experiencing a format that feels like a live event.
Autowebinars can be scheduled to run automatically at regular intervals, for example once a month or every Monday at 2:00 PM. Viewers can interact through a chat feature, and their questions are sent to you by email. Any surveys, notifications, or offers included in the webinar are displayed at the times you configured.
How to Convert a Live Webinar into an Automated Webinar
If you’ve already hosted a live webinar, you can easily convert it into an autowebinar in just a few clicks:
Navigate to Marketing → Live webinars
Locate the webinar you wish to convert (the conversion action is only available for completed webinars).
Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) at the top-right of the webinar card to display available actions, and select Convert to autowebinar.
Note: The action menu is also available directly from the selected webinar's dashboard (top-right of the page).
What happens after conversion?
Learnybox creates a new autowebinar using the same settings from your original live webinar.
All linked surveys, notifications, and offers are automatically imported and scheduled to display at the same times as in the original broadcast.
Important: the original live webinar is not deleted
Converting a live webinar into an autowebinar does not delete the original live webinar.
Both versions remain available in your account.
