Web push notifications allow you to engage with your audience by sending short alerts directly to their devices, even when they are not browsing your website. Follow the steps below to set up and manage your notification campaigns.

Step 1: Create a Web Notification Campaign

  1. Create notification campaign

    • Navigate to MarketingNotifications in the side navigation menu

    • Click on Create new campaign

  2. Configure your campaign

    • Subscription pages: Choose the pages where visitors can subscribe to receive notifications.

    • Pop-up customization: Add a custom text and image to the subscription pop-up.

    • Welcome notification: Configure the confirmation message that will be sent immediately after a user subscribes.

  3. Activate your campaign

    • Once the campaign is active, visitors can subscribe to notifications when they visit the selected pages on your website or blog.

Note: Web push notifications are not compatible with iOS/iPhone devices.

Step 2: Send a Notification

  1. Open your campaign dashboard

    • Select your campaign and click on Send notification

  2. Create your notification

    • Title: Enter the notification title.

    • Content: Write the message content.

    • Optional fields:

      • Link: Add a URL where users will be redirected upon clicking the notification.

      • Image: Upload an image to be displayed with the notification.

  3. Schedule or send immediately

    • Choose to send the notification right away or schedule it for later by selecting the date, time, and time zone.

  4. Click Save to confirm and schedule the notification.

Step 3: Manage Your Notifications

  • After saving, you’ll be redirected to the Notifications tab of your campaign dashboard, where you can view and manage all your notifications:

    • Pending notifications: Scheduled notifications that haven’t been sent yet.

    • Sent notifications: Notifications that have already been delivered.

  • Activate your campaign

    • All new campaigns are disabled by default. Make sure to enable the campaign so that users can subscribe and receive your notifications.
