How to enable new payment methods with Stripe

Learnybox now uses Stripe’s default payment form, which supports additional payment methods automatically — depending on your Stripe settings.

In addition to credit card payments, your customers can now pay using:

  • Apple Pay 🍏

  • Google Pay 🤖

  • Klarna 🛒

  • Link 🔗

To Enable Stripe Payment Methods:

  1. Log in to your Stripe account.

  2. Click Settings (top right), then select Payments.

  3. Open the Payment methods tab, then click on Default to view and manage available options.

  4. From this page, you can enable or disable available payment methods.

Note: Some payment methods — such as Link — may take a few hours to become fully active after being enabled.

Important: Stripe Determines Which Payment Methods Are Displayed

The payment methods shown on your forms are dynamically managed by Stripe — this is not a bug or misconfiguration. Stripe determines which payment options to display based on several factors, including, but not limited to:

  • The customer’s device
    (e.g., Apple Pay only appears on Safari with a registered Apple Wallet)

  • The customer’s geographic location
    (e.g., Klarna may only appear in certain countries)

  • The currency and amount of the transaction
    (some methods are only available for specific currencies or payment thresholds)

  • The customer’s browser and operating system
    (certain payment options require compatibility with the browser or OS)

  • Stripe's internal eligibility rules and risk assessment

As a result, different customers may see different payment methods on the same form, depending on their environment and context.
