You can require customers to accept your General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCs) and Privacy Policy (if applicable) before completing their purchase. This is done by enabling a mandatory consent checkbox within your payment form, along with visible links to your legal information pages.
Step-by-Step: Enable Mandatory Acceptance of Terms
1. Access Payment Form Settings
Navigate to Sales → Offers
In the Forms tab, select the payment form you wish to configure.
Open the Settings tab, then open the Fields sub-tab.
2. Enable Consent Checkbox
Scroll down and enable:
Display links to General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Privacy Policy
3. Customize Text and Links
Edit the displayed text to comply with your legal requirements.
Add the URLs to your General Terms and Conditions of Sale and/or Privacy Policy pages.
4. Save Your Configuration
Click Next step (bottom right) to save and apply your changes.
Once enabled, the consent checkbox becomes mandatory at checkout. Customers will not be able to complete their order without checking this box.
Example Consent Text
"I have read and unconditionally agree to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. I also certify that I have read the Privacy Policy"
By following these steps, you ensure that all customers explicitly accept your terms before completing their purchase, helping you remain compliant with legal requirements and best practices in online sales.
