LearnyPay is Learnybox’s integrated payment solution. It allows you to accept card payments from your customers without opening an account on an external platform.
Creating your wallet takes approximately 10 minutes. Once it has been created, you can begin collecting payments immediately. To transfer these funds to your bank account, your wallet must then be verified by MangoPay, our payment provider. Verification is generally completed within 48 hours, provided your documents are valid.
The 5 steps to create your wallet
Go to Sales → LearnyPay Wallets
Click Create LearnyPay wallet
Step 1 – Read the preliminary information
The first page provides an overview of LearnyPay, the currencies supported by LearnyPay, and the countries where LearnyPay transactions are not supported.
Take the time to read all the information on this page, then click Next step.
Step 2 – Enter your personal information
Enter your information exactly as it appears on your identity document, including your:
First name(s)
Last name
Email address
Date of birth
Once all required information has been filled out click Next step.
⚠️ Important: The information to provide must exactly match your identity document, including accents, apostrophes, and hyphens. For example, “Chloé” is not the same as “Chloe”, and “Mary-Anne” is not the same as “Marry Anne”.
Step 3 – Enter your address
Enter your address so that it can be recognized automatically.
If the automatic suggestion does not work, click Enter address manually to enter it manually and fill out each field individually.
Once you're done, click Next step.
Step 4 – Enter your business information
First, select your company type:
Corporation
Association
Self-employed entrepreneur or independent professional
⚠️ Important: This choice determines which documents MangoPay will request during verification. Please refer to our dedicated article to find out which documents you will need based on your legal status.
Then enter:
Your company name, exactly as it appears on your business registration document.
Your intra-Community VAT number (EU VAT number), required for B2B electronic invoicing within the European Union.
Your business registration number (e.g., SIREN number for French businesses).
Your business address, exactly as it appears on your official documents.
Once you're done, click Next step.
Click Continue to access your newly created wallet's main dashboard.
At this stage, your wallet has been created. You can start using it in your offers and collect payments from your customers. Any funds received will be credited to your LearnyPay wallet. However, before you can transfer those funds to your bank account, your wallet must be verified by MangoPay. A couple of steps remain.
Enable two-factor authentication
This step is mandatory. Until two-factor authentication is enabled, you will not be able to have your account verified by MangoPay.
Submit your documents for verification
Once two-factor authentication has been enabled, go to Settings → Verification to submit your supporting documents.

Required documents to validate your LearnyPay wallet
Once MangoPay has reviewed and approved your documents, your LearnyPay wallet will be validated, and you will be able to transfer your balance to your bank account.
Add your bank account
Once your LearnyPay wallet has been validated, you can add a bank account to transfer your wallet funds. From your LearnyPay wallet dashboard:
Go to Settings → Bank accounts
Click Add bank account
Two options are available:
Bank account: For accounts held with a bank located in the same country as your business or association.
International bank account: For accounts held with a bank located in a different country from your business or association.
Each transfer is subject to a 2.6% fee.
What happens on the MangoPay side
Once your documents have been submitted, MangoPay reviews your application within 48 hours.
During this period:
your wallet remains available for collecting payments, and funds will continue to accumulate.
you cannot yet add your bank account details for wallet balance transfers, and consequently transfer your balance to your bank account, as transfers also remain blocked during verification.
Once the review is complete, one of the following outcomes will apply:
Verification approved: Your LearnyPay wallet will be validated, and you can add your bank account details and transfer your LearnyPay balance to your bank account.
Verification rejected: You will receive a specific reason for the rejection. You can correct the issue and resubmit the relevant document(s).
What should you do if a document is rejected?
The reason for the rejection will be provided in your wallet.
Review the relevant document, ensure that whatever caused the rejection is now resolved, then submit it again.

Enter the address without the special character to complete the wallet creation process.
For example, enter Canon Street instead of Cañon Street.
Once the wallet has been created, contact Learnybox support. We will manually correct the address in MangoPay so that it exactly matches your official documents.
At this stage, your LearnyPay wallet has been created. Once two-factor authentication has been enabled and your documents have been approved, you can use it in your offers and start collecting payments securely.
