LearnyPay allows you to consult and respond to payment disputes directly through your LearnyPay wallet. Managing disputes promptly and professionally helps protect your business and maintain a positive customer relationship.
Steps to Manage Disputes
1. Access LearnyPay Wallet
Navigate to Sales → LearnyPay wallets
Select the wallet linked to the disputed transaction.
2. Access Disputes
Open the Disputes tab.
This section displays your dispute history for all transactions linked to the selected wallet.
3. View Dispute Details
Click View dispute to access complete information, including:
Customer Information: Contact details of the disputing customer
Transaction Details: Specifics about the disputed transaction
Dispute History: Timeline of actions and updates related to the dispute
4. Respond to Contestable Disputes
If the dispute is contestable, you can submit supporting evidence to validate the charge.
Supporting documents may include:
Proof of customer agreement (e.g., signed contracts or terms of service)
Payment confirmation (e.g., receipts, screenshots)
Evidence of product access (e.g., login records, course access logs)
Click Send Documents to upload your files.
5. Close Dispute
If the dispute is resolved in your favor, return to your disputes page and click Close dispute to mark it as settled.
Important Notes
Always respond to disputes promptly to avoid automatic resolution in favor of the customer.
Make sure all submitted documents are clear, accurate, and directly relevant to the dispute.
Maintain detailed records of interactions or exchanges with your clients, as well as transactions to support your case when disputes arise.
