Visitor tracking allows you to set how long visitor activity is to be tracked and attributed to an affiliate. Follow the steps below to configure the tracking duration for your affiliate campaigns.

Steps to Configure Visitor Tracking

1. Access Affiliate Campaign Settings

  • Navigate to SalesAffiliation

  • Open the Campaigns tab and select the campaign you wish to configure.

  • From the campaign dashboard, open the Settings tab.

2. Set Tracking Duration

  • Locate the Tracking duration setting.

  • Enter the number of days a visitor should be tracked after their first visit via an affiliate link.

    • Example: Enter 30 for a 30-day tracking window.

3. Default and Unlimited Tracking

  • The default value is 0, which enables unlimited tracking.

  • When set to 0, visitor data is stored for up to 10 years.

4. Save Your Changes

  • Click Confirm (bottom right) to apply the updated tracking duration.

Notes

  • A tracking duration between 30 and 90 days is generally recommended to align with common affiliate practices.

  • Unlimited tracking (0) is only recommended for campaigns that require long-term visitor tracking.
