If you prefer to review and approve affiliate registrations manually, you can disable the default automatic approval setting. This gives you full control over who joins your program and helps ensure higher-quality affiliates.

Steps to Disable Automatic Approval

1. Access Affiliation Settings

  • Navigate to SalesAffiliation

  • Open the Settings tab

2. Disable Automatic Approval

  • In the General settings sub-tab, disable the Automatic approval setting.

  • Click Confirm (bottom right) to save your changes.

Steps to Approve Affiliates Manually

1. Access Affiliate List

  • Navigate to SalesAffiliation

  • Open the Affiliates tab

2. Locate Affiliate Registration Request

When an affiliate registers and is pending approval, they will still appear in your list but with a Deactivated status.

  • Find the affiliate whose registration you want to approve.

3. Activate Affiliate

  • Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) to the right of the affiliate’s list entry, and select Activate affiliate from the dropdown.

  • The affiliate will be approved and gain access to your affiliate program.

  • Once approved, a registration confirmation email will be automatically sent to the new affiliate.

Customizing Registration and Welcome Emails

Once automatic approval is disabled, you can configure the emails sent during the manual registration process:

1. Registration Confirmation Email

  • Sent automatically once you approve the affiliate's registration request.

  • Should include key information such as login credentials and access instructions.

2. Welcome Email

  • Should welcome the new affiliate and provide essential onboarding information.

To customize these emails:

  • Navigate to SalesAffiliation

  • Open the Settings tab, then open the Emails sub-tab.

  • Edit the templates for both emails to align with your branding and communication.

  • Click Confirm (bottom right) to save your changes.
