A guarantee period allows you to delay the processing of affiliate commissions until the specified number of days has passed. This ensures that commissions are only awarded for completed, non-refunded sales, helping you avoid unnecessary payouts.

How Does a Guarantee Period Work?

When a guarantee period is active for an affiliate campaign, commissions are tracked but temporarily held. They are only added to the affiliate’s available commission balance once the guarantee period has ended.

Example:

  • You create an affiliate campaign for product “X” with a 10-day guarantee period.

  • During this period:

    • Commissions are tracked but not immediately validated.

    • Commission status changes to Valid only after the 10-day period has passed.

    • The affiliate will see their updated commission balance only after the guarantee period ends.

This setup prevents awarding commissions for sales that are canceled or refunded within the guarantee period.

Steps to Set Up a Guarantee Period

  1. Access Campaign

    • Navigate to Sales Affiliation

    • Open the Campaigns tab.

    • Select the campaign you wish to configure.

  2. Access Campaign Settings

    • In your selected campaign’s dashboard, open the Settings tab.

  3. Set Guarantee

    • Scroll to the bottom of the settings page.

    • Enter the desired duration (in days) for the guarantee period.

  4. Save Your Changes

    • Click Confirm at the bottom of the page to save your settings and activate the guarantee period.

Important Notes

  • Ensure the guarantee period aligns with your product’s refund or cancellation policy.

  • Affiliates can view their tracked sales immediately, but commissions will only become valid after the guarantee period ends.

  • Clearly communicate this policy to your affiliates for greater transparency.
