This article explains how to configure your own SMTP server in Learnybox.
You'll learn where to enter your server details and how to validate your configuration.
You can use your own SMTP server to handle transactional emails sent through Learnybox.
⚠️ Only transactional emails sent by Learnybox will be delivered using your custom SMTP server.
Step 1 - Access SMTP Settings
Go to Settings
Click Emails
Expand the SMTP Settings section located at the bottom of the page.
Step 2 - Enter SMTP Server Details
Complete the configuration form with the following information:
SMTP server: Your SMTP server's host address.
Username and password: The credentials used to authenticate with your SMTP server.
Port/SSL: Your SMTP server's port/SSL value.
Encryption method: Select None, SSL, or TLS, depending on your SMTP configuration.
Note: Your SMTP username is usually the email address associated with the account you're authenticating with, unless your SMTP provider requires a different format.
Step 3 - Validate and Test Configuration
Once you've entered your SMTP server details, click Confirm (bottom right) to save your setup. Learnybox will attempt to connect to your SMTP server and validate the configuration.
If a problem is detected, an error message will appear to help you identify and troubleshoot the connection issue.
