You can use your own custom domain name to replace your default Learnybox address (youraccountid.learnybox.com).

Step 1: Access Custom Domain Settings

  1. From the side navigation menu, navigate to:
    Settings Custom Domains

  2. Click Add domain

  3. Enter the subdomain you want to use (e.g., www.mydomain.com), then click Confirm

Important: Root domains (e.g., mydomain.com) are not supported. You must add a subdomain.

Step 2: Configure DNS Settings

Once submitted, your domain will appear as pending validation. To complete the setup:

  1. Log in to your DNS hosting provider (e.g., OVH, IONOS, Gandi, etc.)

  2. Access the DNS settings of your domain

  3. Create the required CNAME record.

CNAME Record

  • Type: CNAME

  • Subdomain (or Host): the subdomain you entered (e.g., www)

  • Value (or Target): ssl.learnybox.com

What does this do?
The CNAME record tells your domain to point to the Learnybox servers.
Specifically, it maps your custom subdomain (e.g., www.mydomain.com) to ssl.learnybox.com, allowing Learnybox to serve your content (website, courses, sales funnels, etc.) under your own domain.

Example for www.mydomain.com

  • Type: CNAME

  • Subdomain (or Host): www

  • Value (or Target): ssl.learnybox.com

You must own the domain name you want to set up on Learnybox. If you don't own one yet, you can purchase a domain from providers such as OVH, IONOS, Gandi, etc.

Important: Check for Conflicting Records

Before creating the CNAME record, make sure there are no other DNS records already configured for the subdomain you want to use.

This includes:

  • Other CNAME records

  • A, TXT, or MX records

A subdomain can only have one DNS record. If you're adding a CNAME, it must be the only record for that subdomain.
Delete any existing conflicting records before proceeding.

Step 3: Wait for DNS Propagation

Once the CNAME record has been created, Learnybox will automatically validate your domain after the DNS changes have propagated.
Note: DNS propagation can take up to 24–48 hours.

Optional: Use the “Done for You” Service

If you’re not comfortable handling the domain configuration yourself, our team can do it for you. You can order a Done for You service (specific to domain setup) directly from your Learnybox homepage.
