Once your custom domain has been added on your Learnybox account and you’ve created the required CNAME record in the DNS settings of your domain, the validation process is automatic and may take up to 24-48 hours.

If your domain is still not validated after 48 hours, please verify the following:

1. Are You Using a Subdomain?

Learnybox does not support root domains (e.g., mydomain.com).
You must use a subdomain, such as:

  • members.mydomain.com

  • courses.mydomain.com

2. Have You Created the CNAME Record?

You must create the following CNAME record in your domain's DNS settings:

  • Type: CNAME

  • Subdomain (or Host): The subdomain you declared (e.g., www)

  • Value (or Target): ssl.learnybox.com

If you're not comfortable managing DNS records, our support team can handle this setup for you.

Simply order a “Done for You” service (specifically for domain configuration) via your Learnybox homepage.

3. Are There Conflicting DNS Records?

Make sure there are no other DNS records (CNAME, A, TXT, or MX) already configured for the subdomain you declared.

Example: If you declared www.mydomain.com, ensure there are no existing records for www in your DNS zone.

⚠️ Important: A subdomain can only have one DNS record. If you're creating a CNAME record, it must be the only record associated with that subdomain.
Delete any conflicting entries before proceeding.

If you’re unsure about any of these steps, we recommend reaching out to a DNS expert or contacting our technical support team for assistance.
