Would you like to offer bank transfer as a payment method to your customers? This article explains how to set up LearnyPay Bank Transfer as a payment method for an offer, what your customer sees during checkout, and how to track your transactions.

To understand how LearnyPay Bank Transfer works and the virtual IBAN technology, first read our article: What is LearnyPay Bank Transfer? How does it work?

Step 1: Create or edit offer

Go to your “Offers” section and create a new offer (or edit an existing one).
Configure your offer as usual: name, products, etc.

Step 2: Enable LearnyPay Bank Transfer as a payment method

When configuring a new LearnyPay payment method for your offer, you will now have two options in the payment method configuration section (specifically under Payment method to display):

  • Credit Card — the standard payment option for card payments

  • Bank Transfer — the option to enable bank transfer payments using a virtual IBAN

Select Bank Transfer so your customers can pay via bank transfer.

Step 3: Review payment settings

When reviewing your new payment method, make sure that:

  • The selected LearnyPay wallet is correct

  • The displayed payment method is Bank transfer

⚠️ Warning: If you accidentally switch the payment method to card payments, the form will use the card payment wallet instead of the bank transfer option.

Step 4: Publish offer

Save your offer. You can embed the payment form in a sales funnel page or share it directly via its link.

Customer experience

When your customer fills out the payment form and clicks the button to proceed to payment, they are redirected to a summary page, which includes:

  • A summary of their order (products and total amount)

  • The bank transfer details to use:

    • Beneficiary name

    • Payment reference (recommended to speed up processing)

    • IBAN to which the transfer should be made

Your customer can then make the transfer immediately. If they don’t complete it right away, they will also receive a summary email with all the necessary information to complete the transfer later.

Tracking transactions

You can track your transactions from your LearnyPay back office:

  • Pending transfers appear with a pending payment status.

  • As soon as the transfer is received, the transaction status automatically updates to validated, and the amount is credited to your LearnyPay wallet.
