Learnybox can display videos hosted on external services, provided that the platform supplies a compatible direct link or embed code.
This article explains how to check whether a video hosting service can be used with Learnybox. The list is not limited to the examples provided below.
Understand the compatibility requirements
Learnybox is compatible with a wide range of external video hosting services.
For a video hosted on a third-party platform to be used in Learnybox, the service must provide at least one of the following:

The video file must also use a common video format, such as MP4 or AVI.
Check the privacy settings
The video must be accessible for it to play in Learnybox.
On YouTube, the video must not be set to Private. A private video cannot be displayed correctly to your learners, even when its URL is added to Learnybox.
For Vimeo and other video hosting services, check the privacy settings before integrating the video. Some platforms allow playback to be restricted to specific websites, people, or domains. These restrictions may prevent the video from displaying or playing in Learnybox.

Before making the content available to your learners, always test the video in Learnybox. This allows you to confirm that the player displays correctly and that playback starts without being blocked.

Before publishing your content, check that the video is accessible from Learnybox.
