Video too large to upload — how to reduce file size

Learnybox allows you to upload videos to your Media Library, but each individual file must be no larger than 1 GB. Your overall storage capacity depends on your subscription plan (1 GB, 20 GB, or 50 GB).

What to do if your video exceeds 1 GB

If your video file is too large, you can reduce its size before uploading using one of the following methods:

Option 1: Re-encode the video using HandBrake

Use HandBrake, a free and reliable video encoding tool, to compress your video with no quality loss.

Option 2: Use YouTube to optimize the file

  1. Upload your video to YouTube.

  2. Once it’s processed, download the optimized version.

  3. Re-upload the optimized video file to your Learnybox Media Library.
