This article explains how to configure an installment payment plan in a payment form.
Use it when you want customers to pay for a product in several payments instead of paying the full amount at once.
Step 1: Access Your Payment Form
Go to Sales → Offers
In the Forms tab, select the payment form where you want to offer the installment plan.
Open the Payment Methods tab.
Step 2: Add or Edit a Payment Method
Click Add payment method, or edit an existing payment method.
In the Payment configuration section, set the following:
Payment Type: Select Multiple payments
Number of Payments: Set how many payments the customer will make (example: 5 payments).
Payment Frequency: Set how often each payment should be made (example: once per month).
Configure additional options as needed (discount on first payments, trial period, and more).
⚠️ Specific settings such as the discount on first payments may be unavailable depending on the selected payment method (LearnyPay, Stripe, etc.).
Step 3: Save Your Changes
Click Confirm (bottom right of the page) to save and apply your changes.
Your installment plan will now be available as a payment option at checkout.
Offer both one-time and installment payments
To give customers more flexibility, you can add multiple payment methods to the same form.
For example, you can offer both a one-time payment and an installment plan.

What customers see at checkout
At checkout, customers can choose the payment option that suits them best, based on the payment methods you configured for the form.
