How to import course members into an email sequence

Learn how to import course members into an email sequence from your existing courses.


This article explains how to import existing course members into an email sequence.

Use it when you have created a sequence specifically for course members and want to add members from one or more courses, including members from specific course groups when applicable.


If you’ve created an email sequence specifically for your course members, you can easily import them into that sequence by following these steps:

  1. Access Import Settings
    Navigate to MarketingEmailsSettings tab → Imports sub-tab

  2. Start the Import
    Click Import contacts

  3. Select the Source
    Choose Course as the import source to pull contacts from your existing courses.

  4. Choose Courses or Groups
    You’ll see a list of all your courses, along with any associated groups.
    For each course or group, select the email sequence you want the members to be added to.


    Note: You can also import course members who are not currently enrolled in any course. This option is available at the bottom of the page.

  5. Apply Tags (Optional)
    You can assign one or more tags to the imported contacts to help with segmentation and targeting within your sequence.

  6. Confirm the Import
    Click Confirm (bottom right) to complete the process.

The import usually takes just a few minutes. Once completed, your selected course members will be enrolled in the email sequence you chose.
