This article explains how to customize the modules displayed in your course’s top navigation menu.
These changes only affect how modules appear to learners in the course menu. They do not rename the actual modules or change the course content itself.
To do this:
1. Navigate to your course menu settings: access your course settings, then open the Menu sub-tab.
2. Click Edit next to My course menu
3. Under Modules to display, uncheck the All modules checkbox.
This will reveal a list of all modules in the course.
4. Set a custom display name for each module if needed.
5. To hide a module from the top navigation menu, simply uncheck its box.
Note: These changes only affect the display in the top navigation menu of the course. They do not rename the actual modules in your course structure and do not change the content available inside the course.
