Understanding the Products tab in an offer

Learn what the Products tab is used for, how to manage the products in your offer, and which settings are available when configuring a product.

This article explains how to use the Products tab to manage all the products linked to an offer. From this tab, you can create new products, import products from another offer, and manage existing products.

It also explains the main settings available when configuring a product, including its general information, pricing, linked content, quantity rules, and more.

Step 1: Access the Products tab

  1. Go to Sales → Offers

  2. In the Forms tab, select the offer you wish to configure.

  3. Open the Products tab.

Step 2: Understanding the Products tab

The Products tab displays all the products included in your offer.

From this page, you can:

  1. Import an existing product from another offer.

  2. Add a new product to your offer.

  3. Configure an existing product.

  4. Activate/deactivate, duplicate, or delete an existing product.

Step 3: Configure a product

The product configuration page brings together the settings used to define how the product is presented, priced, delivered, and displayed on invoices within the offer.

Edit product information

You can customize the product’s general information, including:

  • Product name

  • Image

  • Description

Required or optional product

Use the Required option to determine whether the product must be included in the customer’s purchase.

When enabled, the product is included automatically and cannot be removed by the customer.

Configure pricing

The Pricing section allows you to configure the product’s price and tax settings, including:

  • Price (excluding VAT)

  • VAT rate

  • Price (including VAT)

  • Default currency

Link content or services to the product

You can link different types of content or services to the product:

  • One or more courses

  • One or more communities

  • One live webinar

  • Credits

Customers who purchase the product receive access to the content or services linked to it.

Manage quantity settings

The Quantity section allows you to configure quantity-related options for the product.

You can define:

  • whether customers can select a quantity

  • the minimum quantity

  • the maximum quantity

  • the available stock

These settings let you control how many units a customer can purchase and, where applicable, the available stock.

Additional settings

The product configuration page also includes a couple of additional settings:

1. Display the price excluding VAT instead of including VAT

Enable this option when you want the product price to be displayed excluding VAT rather than including VAT.

2. Replace the displayed price

Enable this option to replace the standard product price with custom text.

This can be useful when you do not want the usual numerical price to appear in the offer.

Configure the invoice description

In the Billing section, you can enter an optional description that will appear on invoices below the product name.

Use this field when you want to provide additional billing information about the product without displaying it elsewhere in the offer.

Display the product as a special offer

In the Special offer section, enable the option to display the product as a special offer.

When enabled, the product is highlighted in a dedicated Special offer block at checkout, allowing it to be presented separately from the main products in the offer.

Example:
