This article explains the information available in the Opt-in Forms menu and how to use it to manage your opt-in forms, also known as lead capture forms.
From this menu, you can view existing forms, monitor their performance, and create new ones based on your needs.
To access your opt-in forms:
Go to Marketing → Opt-in Forms
Check the number of forms
At the top of the page, the title shows the total number of opt-in forms in your workspace. This lets you see at a glance how many forms are available.
View your forms
The page displays all the opt-in forms created in your account.
Each form appears on a separate row with several pieces of information that help you identify it quickly.
Name
The Name column displays the name of the form.
This makes it easy to find a form when several are available.
Sequence
The Sequence column indicates which sequence or sequences contacts will be added to after submitting the form.
This lets you quickly check which sequences new contacts will enter after signing up.
Conversion rate
The Conversion rate column displays the form's conversion rate, calculated based on its total views and registrations.
This metric lets you compare the performance of your different forms and identify which ones perform best.
Search for a form
The Search field allows you to quickly locate a form by name.
Pagination
At the bottom of the page, the pagination controls let you navigate between pages when your account contains a large number of forms.
You can also choose how many forms are displayed per page.
Create a form
To create a new form, click Create form at the top right of the page.
This opens the form creation wizard, which guides you through the different configuration steps.
1. Choose a template
The first step is to select a template. Two options are available:
a) Default
The Default template is a standard form that includes the email address field only.
Make sure not to remove the email field, as it is required to register new contacts in your user database.
You can add more fields to your form if needed. We recommend adding at least the First name field to the Default template so that new user records include your leads' first names and email addresses.
b) Specific
The Specific template lets you select an existing template and use it as the basis for your form.
After choosing the template you want to use, click Next step (bottom right) to continue.
2. Select sequences and tags
The second step is to define what happens to new contacts after they submit your form.
You can:
Select one or more existing sequences to enroll your new contacts.
Select one or more tags to be assigned to your new contacts.
For convenience, you can also create a new sequence or tag directly from this step.
You can also choose where users will be redirected after submitting the form.
Two options are available:
Select an existing funnel page from the dropdown list.
Enter a page URL if the page you want is not included in the dropdown list.
Once you're done with this step, click Next step (bottom right) to continue.
3. Name the form
Enter the name you want to give your form in the Form name field.
Note: If you selected a sequence in the previous step, its name is automatically suggested in this field. You can keep it or change it as needed.
You can always change the form name later if needed.
Once you have named your form, click Next step (bottom right) to continue.
4. Complete form creation
After completing all the steps, a confirmation message appears to let you know that your form has been successfully created.
Click Build form to open the form editor and customize its elements, or click Exit (top right) to save your new form and return to your opt-in form list.
You now know what information is available in the Opt-in Forms menu and how to use the different options when creating a form.
