This article explains how to set advanced scheduling options for a step in an email sequence.
Use it when you want to control exactly when a sequence email is sent, based on a delay after the previous step or on specific scheduling rules.
1. Access Email Sequence
Navigate to Marketing → Emails → Sequences tab.
Click the name of the sequence that contains the email step you wish to configure.
2. Edit Step
In the Steps tab, locate the relevant email.
Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the step and select Configure step.
3. Set Step Execution Delay
In the scheduling options, specify the delay (in days, hours, or minutes) after the previous step before this email is sent.
This allows you to control the pacing of your sequence.
4. Customize Advanced Settings (Optional)
Click on Display advanced settings to access more detailed options:
Time of day: Set the exact time you want the email to be sent.
Days of the week: Select specific days of the week the email is allowed to be sent.
Fixed date: Choose a specific calendar date for the email to be sent.
Time zone: Select the time zone for your email scheduling.
By adjusting these settings, you can create a highly tailored email sequence that aligns with your campaign objectives.
