How to rename your course modules and pages

When creating a course, each module and page must be named. These names (or titles) can be changed at any time through your course’s Content tab.

To rename a module:

  1. Navigate to your course’s Content tab.
    This section displays all modules and pages in your course.

  2. Find the module you wish to rename.

  3. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) to the right of the module, then select Module properties.

  4. Enter the new name for the module and save your changes.

To rename a page:

  1. Also in the course’s Content tab, locate the page you want to rename.

  2. Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) to the right of the page, then select Page properties.

  3. Enter the new name for the page and save your changes.
