This article explains how to identify contacts who have not given explicit consent to direct marketing.
Use it when you want to filter these contacts in your CRM, review them, and delete them from your LearnyMail contact database if needed.
If a contact has not given explicit consent for direct marketing, you can easily identify and remove them to remain GDPR-compliant. Here's how:
1. Access Contact Database
Navigate to the CRM from the side navigation menu.
Select the Contacts segment to only display users registered in your contact database.
2. Filter Contacts by Marketing Consent
Click Filters, then select Add filter.
Configure the filter as follows:
Field: The user has consented to direct marketing
Value: No
Click View results to apply the filter and display contacts who haven’t consented to direct marketing.
3. Delete Contacts
Select the contacts and delete them using the action menu if you wish to remove them from your database. Please note that the deletion action will permanently delete the selected user records from your user database.
You can also perform other actions on these contacts if needed, such as adding or removing specific tags, unsubscribing them from one or more sequences, or unsubscribing them completely from your email communications.
