This article explains how to disable video preloading for a specific video element.
Use this functionality when your page contains several videos and you want to reduce page loading time by keeping preloading enabled only for your main video.
If your page contains multiple videos, such as testimonials, we recommend disabling preloading for all secondary videos while keeping it enabled for your main video.
This helps reduce page loading time, improve the visitor experience, and support better overall page performance.
How to Disable Preloading
By default, video preloading is enabled for all video elements.
To disable it for a specific video:
Open the page editor for the page that includes the video element.
Click the video element you wish to modify.
In the Content tab, locate the Disable preloading setting.
Check the box to disable preloading for that video element.
Click Save to apply your changes.
Repeat these steps for each additional video on the page that should not preload. Once you're done, click Finish (top right) to exit the page editor.
Note: Preloading helps videos start playing faster. Disable it only if you plan to embed multiple videos on the same page.
