This article explains how to add an automatically generated affiliate link to an email in your affiliate campaign.
Use it when you want affiliates to receive ready-to-use promotional emails containing their own unique tracking link, without having to modify the link themselves.
To streamline communication and help your affiliates promote your courses or other digital products, you can build email templates for your affiliates to send to their audiences. These emails can include automatically generated affiliate links, which will be personalized for each affiliate to ensure accurate tracking and attribution.
Steps to Add Affiliate Links to Your Emails
1. Access affiliate campaign emails
Go to Sales → Affiliation
Open the Campaigns tab.
Select the campaign you wish to configure.
Open your selected campaign’s Emails tab.
2. Create the email
Click Create email to build a new email template for the selected campaign.
Enter the email details:
Subject line
Notes or instructions (optional – for affiliate guidance)
Email content
3. Insert the affiliate link variable
In the email content, use the [[LINK]] dynamic variable wherever you want the affiliate’s tracking link to appear.
When the email is delivered, Learnybox automatically replaces [[LINK]] with the unique tracking link assigned to that affiliate. This means each affiliate receives a personalized version of the link.
⚠️ To create a clickable link:
Highlight the text you want to hyperlink.
Click the Link icon (or use Ctrl + L)
Set the protocol to https://
Type [[LINK]] into the URL field.
Click OK to save.
4. Save the email
Once your email content and links are ready, click Confirm (bottom right) to save your new email.
What happens when affiliates use the email?
Affiliates can use the email to promote the products linked to the campaign without making any changes, such as changing the affiliate URL manually.
Each time the email is generated for an affiliate, the [[LINK]] variable is replaced with that affiliate’s unique tracking link.
