This article explains how to change the company type linked to your LearnyPay wallet.
Use it when your legal business structure has changed, or when the company type selected in LearnyPay no longer matches your current situation.
Why your company type matters
When creating or editing your LearnyPay account, you must select your company type.
This selection is important because it determines which documents are required for account validation.
LearnyPay account validation is reviewed and processed by MangoPay.
Available Company Types
You can choose from the following company types when setting up or editing your LearnyPay account:
Corporation
Association
Self-Employed Entrepreneur or Independent Professional
Before changing your company type
Make sure the selected company type accurately reflects your legal business structure.
The number and type of required documents may change depending on your selection.

How to Change Your Company Type
1. Access LearnyPay Wallet Settings
Go to Sales → LearnyPay wallets
Select your wallet
Open the Settings tab
Open the Company sub-tab
2. Change Company Type
Select the new company type that accurately reflects your current business structure.
3. Save Your Changes
Click Confirm (bottom right) to save and apply your changes.
Revalidate Your LearnyPay Account
If your LearnyPay account was already validated, you need to resubmit the required documents based on the newly selected company type.
Follow the standard validation process to comply with LearnyPay requirements.
What happens after the change?
Your LearnyPay company type is updated. If the change affects your validation requirements, your account may need to be reviewed again with the required documents for the new company type.
