This article explains how to reduce background noise during a live webinar.
Use it when you want to filter out unwanted sounds from your microphone and improve the audio quality of your broadcast.
Follow these steps to improve audio quality and minimize background noise during your live webinar:
1. Access Webinar Studio
Navigate to Marketing → Live webinars and select the webinar you wish to configure.
In the webinar dashboard, click on Join the studio (top right corner)
Note: This button is only available once the broadcast is set up. If you see Set up broadcast instead, complete that step first.
2. Enable Noise Reduction
Once in the webinar room, click the microphone selection option (next to the mic icon).
From this menu, you can configure your audio settings. Enable the Noise reduction setting to filter out background sounds during your broadcast.
Click Confirm to save and apply your settings.
Important: Test your microphone before going live
We recommend testing your microphone settings before the session starts.
This helps you confirm that your audio quality is clear and that noise reduction works as expected.
