This article explains how to make an affiliate campaign private.
Use it when you want only specific affiliates to see and access a campaign, or when you want to create a dedicated registration page that automatically adds new affiliates to one or more private campaigns.
What is a private affiliate campaign?
A private affiliate campaign is only visible and accessible to the affiliates you manually select. Affiliates who are not selected cannot view or participate in the campaign.
Private campaigns are useful when you want to offer exclusive promotions, products, or commission structures to a specific group of affiliates.
Steps to Set a Campaign as Private
1. Access the campaign dashboard
Go to Sales → Affiliation
Open the Campaigns tab
Click the name of the campaign you wish to configure.
2. Set the campaign to private
Open the Settings tab
Scroll to the bottom of the page and set the Campaign Type to Private
3. Select Affiliates with Access
Choose the affiliates you want to include in the campaign.
Only selected affiliates will be able to see and access the campaign. Affiliates who are not selected will not have visibility or access.Click Confirm (bottom right of the page) to save and apply your changes.
Optional - Automatically add new affiliates to private campaigns
You can configure an affiliate registration page to automatically enroll new affiliates in one or more private campaigns.
This is useful when you want affiliates who register through a specific page to be added directly to selected private campaigns.
1. Create an affiliate registration page
Go to Website & Blog → Website
In the Pages tab, click Create page
You can also create the page within a sales funnel if needed.
2. Add an affiliate registration form
Open the page in the page editor.
Insert the Affiliate Registration Form element onto the page
3. Assign private campaigns
When configuring the form element, select the private campaign or campaigns you want to assign.
⚠️This configuration option is only visible in the editor if at least one of your campaigns is set to Private.
Affiliates who register through this page are automatically added to the selected private campaigns.
What happens after setup?
Once the campaign is set to private, only selected affiliates can access it.
If you also configure an affiliate registration form with private campaign assignment, new affiliates who register through that page are automatically added to the selected private campaign or campaigns.
