Before deleting contacts, it's important to understand the different status types that may be assigned to your contacts.

Learnybox automatically assigns a status to each contact based on their email activity and deliverability. For example, contacts can be marked as Spam or Non-existent email address when email delivery fails, or when the recipient flags your message as spam.

A non-existent email address typically refers to an email that fails to deliver because the address doesn't exist (e.g., due to a typo, deleted mailbox, or fake address).

How to delete these contacts

To remove contacts flagged as spam or with invalid email addresses:

1. Access Contact Database

Navigate to the CRM from the side navigation menu.

Select the Contacts segment to only display users registered in your contact database.

2. Filter Contacts by Email Status

Click Filters, then select Add filter.

Configure the filter as follows:

  • Field: Email status

  • Condition: is equal to

  • Value: Non-existent email address

Click View results to display the filtered contacts.

To filter contacts marked as spam, repeat the same process:

  • Click Add filter

  • Field: Email status

  • Condition: is equal to

  • Value: Marked as spam

  • Click View results

3. Delete Filtered Contacts

Once the filtered list appears:

  • Select the contacts you wish to remove

  • Use the available action menu to delete them from your database
