If your Vimeo videos aren’t playing in the Learnybox mobile app, the issue is usually related to Vimeo’s privacy settings. Follow the steps below to ensure your videos are properly configured for mobile app playback.

Recommended Vimeo settings:

  1. Do not enable domain restrictions
Domain-level privacy settings can block playback in the mobile app.
Vimeo – How to change video privacy settings

  2. Hide the video from Vimeo

    • Set the visibility to “Hide from Vimeo” to prevent the video from being found or accessed outside your course.

  3. Update embed permissions

    • In the Embed tab, set permissions to “Anywhere”.
This ensures that Learnybox and the mobile app can load the video without restrictions.

Important:

  • After adjusting your video’s privacy settings, Vimeo may generate a new video link.

  • Make sure to copy the updated link and re-embed in your course content by setting it in the appropriate video element (via the Learnybox course page editor).

Correct format reminder: Ensure your final video URL matches the format expected by Learnybox for smooth app playback.

Video URL format example: https://vimeo.com/901094838
